落地應用/無人機急救系統 迅速抵偏遠地點救人

AeroRelief, an innovative drone emergency response system developed by an HKUST team, was showcased at the International Low-Altitude Economy Summit. The system can quickly analyze emergency reports and automatically determine the necessary medical supplies, allowing for the rapid deployment of rescue kits, such as automated external defibrillators and epinephrine auto-injectors.

HKUST registered the biggest jump, moving up from 66th to 58th in Times Higher Education (THE) 2026 World University Rankings. HKUST has secured over HK$279 million in funding from the Research Grants Council (RGC) for six research projects, including a project on the Study of Topological and Strongly Correlated Quantum Materials led by PHYS Chair Prof. LAW Kam-Tuen. With an approved budget of HK$65.41 million, the project aims for computational speeds surpassing those of supercomputers, marking a highly challenging area of research.
